Sundesh Visit Report

Mr. Pradip Burman , Chairman, Sundesh along with Mrs. Indira Burman, Executive Council Member Sundesh and Mrs. Mrs. Bowen from UK had a  Sundesh Visit ,  Activities of (UP) location on 20th January 2018 with Mr. Sushil Kumar (Project Head, CSR / Head Sundesh).

SIRUC ( Sundesh Integrated Rural Upliftment Centre ),Village – Chauna, Block- Dadri, District – Gautam Budha Nagar, U.P.

Mr. Pradip Burman and other guests received a warm welcome and were honored by Village Pradhan and Sundesh team members and students of the newly opened Computer Literacy Centre during their Sundesh visit. Basis health camps and special women health check-up camps were organized for villagers as a part of efforts to make basic healthcare accessible for all.

Veterinary Management services are also provided to farmers to maintain their cattle’s. Farmers were also educated on basis health care tips and first aid for animals.

Guest also got opportunity to meet students of Computer Literacy Centre at Sundesh visit. The center was open keeping in mind the following two parameters.

  1. The only nearest centers accessible to students were either in Ghaziabad, Gautam Budha Nagar or Hapur which were more than 25 km away from their village and it became difficult for students to take admissions due to travel constraints.

  2. Secondly most of the students in the village were opting for government jobs, and with digital India on-set the application process has become computer centric and computer learning was the need of hour to shape up the life

At Sundesh visit, Students expressed their gratitude to Mr. Pradip Burman, Chairman Sundesh for providing the opportunity to cope with growing times by opening Computer Literacy Centre in there village.

Mr. Pradip Burman along with esteemed Guests visited  one of the NFE ( Non-Formal Education Centre) “Sundesh Gyan Deep Kendra” run by Sundesh to prepare school drop-out or under privileged  children’s for keeping them linked to the formal education system.

Further, guests also visited one of the Skilling Centers – “Beautician Training Centre” run by the Sundesh and interacted with the trainees and trainer. Trainees shared their views on how this center has helped them developed their skills.

Future project plans were also discussed amongst the guests and Mr. Pradip Burman. One of the focus points was to build the boundary wall for Formal School Project at Village Atrouli, Block – Bhojpur , District- Ghaziabad, U.P and the strategy was planned to get the project completed in time.
